This is Marketing

by Seth Godin

This is the first marketing focused book I am reading. Didn't enjoy much. Most of the things mentioned are fairly obvious and didn't learn anything new. May be I had higher expectation before starting this book.

Fault Lines

by Raghuram Rajan

Raghuram Rajan, previous Reserve Bank of India governor and an economist who predicted global financial crisis before it hit, in this book argues that serious  flaws in the economy, and warns that a potentially more devastating crisis awaits if they aren't fixed.

This book is way over my head. Need multiple reading to understand and I am not in a position for proper review.

I Will Teach You to Be Rich

by Ramit Sethi

One of the podcasts I listen to, called Optimal Finance Daily, features Ramit Sethi's blog posts frequently. He plugs his book here and there in his blog posts. This made me interested in looking up his book.

First of all, a lot of the content in this book is applicable only to people in the US. But that doesn't affect my rating of this book, since I already read several books targeted to USA audience, I was able to understand almost everything mentioned.

The tone of this author may put you off in the first place. Significant part of the contents are just repetition and common sense. Overall, the book is disappointing.
