This is the fourth video in the GNUCash series. Here lets see how we can reconcile an account.
I use reconcile option for my credit card accounts. This will help me to make sure there are no unexpected charges or transactions in the bill. When ever I get a bill, I match it with the transactions recorded in GNUCash, and verify they are correct.
Reconciliation will also help you to mark the transaction as permanent, making sure you won't edit it by mistake in the future.
